Learn about how my Halloween went, what I liked, and how it could have been better!

This image is such an accurate representation of my candy basket this Halloween. Of about the 20 pieces of candy I got ( I didn’t trick or treat that much this year) l, I could only eat about 2-3 of the candy pieces I actually got. This is the first year I didn’t go trick of treating around my whole neighborhood but I was able to go to a fun Halloween party. Halloween isn’t usually about the food for me. It’s more about the costumes and hanging out with friends. To increase awareness, I hope some of you also participated in FARE‘s teal pumpkin project. Unfortunately, I was the only one in my development who took on this food allergy initiative. I hope there are only more participants in the future. On any holiday, exceptionally those centered around food, it is important that we raise awareness for food allergies. Though I was unable to do a Halloween segment on the blog this year, there will definitely be segment for Thanksgiving and birthdays ( as mine is coming up soon)! Until then, I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween and managed your food allergies well!
